Numerous events are run at the
Windsor Castle throughout the year.
Barbecues and parties are held
in the gardens in the summer.
Beer Festival Held on the Last
May Bank Holiday Weekend, Friday to Monday
Held during a May
bank holiday weekend, the Beer Festival has become a
must-do weekend event for local ale drinkers. There are up
to 40 real ales available from breweries all
over England. All-comers are treated to live music on the
Saturday and Sunday evening and a
barbecue on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 12-6pm.
Quiz Nights
Every Thursday is Quiz Night
down at The Windsor, alternating between a Pop and Trivia
quiz fortnightly.
Entrance fee is £ 2.00 per person per team.
Straw Jack Festival
"Across the world there are
traditions of creating a figure from the last cuts of the
grain harvest. Wolves, Bears and Men are the most common,
sometimes they are beaten out of the village, sometimes
thrown into water, and sometimes burnt. Here in Carshalton
we decided to make a Straw Man or 'Jack' and burn him at
the end of his travels. He is accompanied by Musicians,
Drummers, Characters and Sweepers."

Carshalton Fireworks
One of our busiest nights of
the year with locals, visitors and regulars stopping in
before and after the display for a hot meal, a few beers
and just occasionally something stronger and more warming!
Golf Society
The golf society has been
formed and new members are always welcome. More
