Little Feat, BB King, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Grace Jones and
Ry Cooder, along with strong original material.
Bad Influence
are described as a "Rock and Blues" band and that is where they sit
quite comfortably. The live show is exciting and packed full of both
original songs and killer cover versions, with songs from artists as
diverse as Tom Petty, Dixie Chicks and even Rory Gallagher.
Slurred are an
English rock band trapped in a time warp. Their stage show evokes
memories of the worst excesses of the 1970's 'glam rock' era, a riot
of hair, colour, shades and vertigo-inducing platforms.
A four-piece
rock covers band playing 'classic' rock music from the 60s to the
90s. Having played in established name bands over the years, Cry
Wolf's line-up boasts powerful vocal harmonies, a driving rhythm
section and exceptional lead guitar.
Tim Hain is a
guitarist, singer, band leader and songwriter who combines the
genres of blues and reggae, often improvising a lyric on stage,
later crafting this into one of the blues-reggae hybrids for which
he is so well known.
Probably the
finest example of the new 'young bloods' of the British blues scene
bringing their progressive, rock driven blues with its 60's
influences, kicking and screaming into the new millenium. The band
plays a wide range of material featuring original songs from their
albums as well as a selection of classic blues and rock from such
legends as Jimi Hendrix and The Doors.
Formed out of
the ashes of London rock legends BAD II THE BONE, this new band
features BTTB'S lead singer and guitarist Ed Hudson. Covering great
classic rock music from the 60s up to present, including AC/DC, The
Who, Deep purple, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, ZZ Top and
Bad Company.
Raw Glory are
a three-piece band playing hard blues-edged rock, whose members
between them cover the length and breadth of the British rock scene.
Expect classic songs from the 60s, 70s and beyond, plus original
material from the band's latest album, featuring powerhouse
Quatermass and Gillan drummer Mick Underwood, guitar virtuoso Cosmo
from The Heavy Metal Kids, and Johnny Heywood, ex-Coghlan's Quo, on
bass and vocals.
Fire and Water
offer a high-energy mix of Led Zeppelin, Free and Bad Company songs
in their set, classics like, 'Can't Get enough', 'Feel Like Makin'
love', 'Stairway to Heaven', 'Whole Lotta Love' and 'All Right Now',
etc. are featured. Fire and Water interpret these classics songs of
the genre with sympathy and feel, in their own accomplished style,
always keeping true to the spirit of these British Rock anthems.
Although
greatly influenced by the Blues, Willy has the ability to make the
most of any rock or pop song and he is an emotive soul singer. A
very experienced performer, Finlayson tailors his performance to get
the best out of an audience no matter what age they are or musical
interests they have. Musical influences include Ray Charles, Donny
Hathaway and Robbie Robertson of The Band.
Rainmaker are
an experienced, professional four piece band playing some of the
greatest rock classics from the likes of Guns 'n Roses, Billy Idol,
Whitesnake, Primal Scream and AC/DC.
Jinn House are
very versatile in their playing and can rock out with great heavy
metal classics such as 'Paranoid' and 'Smoke on the Water' or soothe
the evening with ballads like 'You Send Me' and 'Little Wing'. They
can even take on styles like reggae and pay tribute to Bob Marley,
or go funky and sing Wild Cherry's hit 'Play that Funky Music'
Top class,
professional vocals and stunning guitar arrangements provide the
depth of tone and variety of ambience you would expect, all built on
rock solid rhythms from bass and drums, which combine to give that
special Inside Edge sound. They cover songs from the 60's to
contemporary hits from artists such as Eagle Eye Cherry, The
Darkness, Nickleback and REM.
