Welcome back, it's great to see you!!!

Your safety and experience at the Windsor Castle Pub are the most important things to us and so we have laid out below how we will be operating to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe visit.

When on the premises, inside, in the courtyard or in the garden, please observe all of the signs and directions and abide by the rules:

  • In line with the Government guidelines regarding track and trace we are required to collect the name and contact details of all those entering the pub. You can register your details by scanning the NHS QR code posters, or you will need to provide this information to a member of staff. Your details will be held for 21 days in line with our Privacy Policy which can be found on our website or we can email to you on request.
  • We will direct you to the tables available when you arrive. Please remember you can only meet in groups of up to two households (including your support bubbles), or a group of at most six people from any number of households.
  • We have planned the layout of areas, both inside and outside the pub, to ensure you are 2m from another person wherever possible. Where we have identified this may not be possible, we have positioned tables, chairs, and walkways in a way that is in accordance with Government guidance, allowing at least 1m social distancing.
  • Please refrain from moving tables and chairs to ensure we are complying with government guidelines.
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided on entry to the pub and located in points around the pub.
  • We are operating by table service only therefore you are not permitted to approach the bar to order or pay. This is to avoid unnecessary movement and contact with other patrons and staff.
  • The toilets will operate on a one in one out basis. Please ensure children are accompanied to the toilet with an adult from the member of the same household. Remember to wash your hands for 20 seconds after using the toilet and use the hand sanitiser provided.
  • Please do not form queues for the toilets.
  • We will be operating on a cashless basis and are advising contactless payments. When paying a member of staff will bring the card machine to your table, you will not need to come to the bar to pay.
  • We are by first and foremost a family friendly pub, children are welcome but please keep them with you and seated at your table, please note children are counted within the 2 household or 6 rule.
  • If you see anyone not obeying these measures or something you feel is unsafe, please alert a member of staff immediately
  • Dogs are allowed, but they must stay on the lead at all times. Please remember our pub dog, Yogi the boxer will be around most of the time and may be off the lead when you enter.
